The 1987 musical “Pajama Game,” directed by Mr. Don Fre-diani, was a great success. The plot centered around a fight for a seven and a half cent raise for the employees of a pajama factory. Lee Altman portrayed Sid Sirokian, Anthony Geramita was Vernon Hines, Bridget Villani’s character was the dingy Gladys, and Jean Fortuna was Babe. Other members of the cast included Greg Alexander, Julee Loth, John DiSil-vestri, Tasha Anzalone, and Leslie Menencino. The highlight of the evening was when Anthony dropped his pants. The orchestra was directed by Todd Izzo and Mr. Lou D’Angelo directed the choir. As he always does, Mr. Fred did a fabulous job. There also was a senior citizens night on which the auditorium was packed. Like previous years, after the citizens enjoyed the musical, they were invited into the gym for goodies and punch which were provided by the National Honor Society. This also gave the citizens a chance to meet and talk with the cast. Musical 22 “The Pajama Game

The Contest Within The Contest Thanks . .. . . . for a Job well done!!! Okay, so most of you didn’t get to see the contest. And, so what? How exciting can a Frozen Yogurt contest be, anyway? You should have been there! You could tell right away who was serious about it. Pace yourself? Forget it, if you wanted to win. Freshman Eric Holtz charged into an early lead, eating 4 cups of the frozen stuff in the first 3 minutes. As time went on, Eric faded, but still finished with a total of 9 cups eaten. Things really got serious, as Dan Ambuster and Phil Panella got into the swing of things. Dan and Phil battled it out to the end, but Dan ate 1 more, finishing with 12 cups eaten. So you weren’t there? Just wait till next year! 21
