A New Classic . . . THE CHRISTMAS DANCE Christmas, a time for joy, cheer, giving and re- ceiving. This year, Neshannock's student body re- ceived a new aspect in dances-a Christmas Semi- Formal. The new (and to be annual) affair was held on December 13 in the school cafeteria. However, while strolling under a roof draped in decoration, no one would have recognized it. Music was supplied by the great D.J. Master Gee . Along with flashing lights and a dancing partner, Master Gee kept the folks in attendance rocking throughout the night with a wide variety of songs. And when the guests were not dancing, they visit- ed their friends who were also in attendance, munched on snacks that were provided, and basical- ly had an all out good time. The guests also received a visit from a jolly old fat man; yes, Santa Claus himself(!?!) paid a visit to Neshannock to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and spread some Christmas cheer. For most of the guests, a dinner at a special res- taurant followed to cap a special evening. Many thanks go out to Student Council for mak- ing the Christmas Semi-Formal a reality and a suc- cess, and to Mr. Barley and Mr. Wiczen, without whom the dance would not have come off.
