TIME WILL REVEAL The 1986 Junior-Senior Prom On Friday, May 9, 1986, the Neshannock Class of 1987 hosted the annual Junior-Senior Prom at the New Englander. Members of the Class of 1987 chose as the prom theme Time will Reveal. Long before the night began, the class officers and decorating committees spent long hours of preparation to en- sure the prom's success. Much time was spent the Thursday night before the prom setting ta- bles and decorating the Ridge- wood Room for the coming night. Finally, the special night ar- rived and the fun began. Couples spent the evening posing for pic- tures, conversing with friends, and dancing to the sounds of Amber. Even after the prom itself end- ed, the fun continued into the wee hours of the morning as cou- ples went out for dinner and at- tended post-prom parties. Many thanks to all those who helped to make the prom so spe- cial, especially to Mr. Barley and to Mr. Wiczen, who recorded the entire evening on video tape.

HOMECOMING The night - Friday, October 10th. The place - Neshannock's Football Stadium. The event - the crowning of the Homecoming Queen. But, before that, let's remem- ber where the girls come from. In an election held in grades 10, 11, 12, three girls are chosen from each grade. Of these, the three senior girls will vie for Home- coming Queen. Imagine the pres- sure mounting as the day gets closer, especially when pictures must be taken, dresses chosen, and escorts selected. Then the night arrived. Stu- dent Council Secretary Melissa Canciello and Treasurer Bob Benson would have the honor of riding the first car and crowning the queen. They escorted the Crown Bearer and Flower Girl. They were followed by the Soph- more attendants, Tamara Bart- berger, Cathy Cunningham, and Tami Martello and their escorts David Wible, Scott Grady, and Jason Lowry. The Junior Atten- dants were Pam Evans, Michelle Morrison, and Bridget Villani and their escorts Kevin Flout, Karl Sommerfeld, and Vince Del- Signore. Lastly, the queen candi- dates entered the field. They were Becky Martello, Tina Mastrian, and Tracey Tullio with their es- corts Tim Jay, Mark Moses, and Jim Daugherty. Tension mounted and all eyes were on the field as Mr. Frediani read the name of the 1986 Home- coming queen - Tina Mastrian. Congratulations to all the girls on the court and especially to Tina, the 1986 Homecoming Queen.
