SUPGIUWUHE HISIUHH On September 7, l9Lg.8, thirteen green fresh- men entered the Center Township High School. We truly felt we had just begun, but we intended to go on. The seniors started the year out for us by giving an initiation party. In our freshman year we chose for president, Russell Poor, vice-president, David Roetherg sece rotary and treasurer, Leonard Baerg reporter, Doris Ballinger, and Miss Yewey was our class ad- viser. In our sophomore year we began with the same thirteen pupils, but this time we weren't so green. We had to :o on with only twelve, for at the middle of the year Mary Evelyn Howell moved to Buckland To direct us during our sophomore year, chose Doris Ballinger a prosld nt, Guy Schmidt as vic president, Usther Harner as s crctary and treasurer and Delor s Rhyne as report r Miss Yew y was our adviser this J ar also We feel we h ve made 1 successful beginning and will strive to k p poing on The class nominated Russell Poor for Rina and Doris Ballinger for queen at the Spring Carnival These two competed avainst the nominees of the other classes for king and queen ,N Q ,W U K 4 0 a - 4 we O I S I eh .
