.HHHUH HISTURH In September, l9M6, thirteen green freshmen entered the intellectual world of high school. To seniors gave us and an initiation president and Mr, give us a good beginning, the green hats and signs to wear party. Marlene Frahm was our Grice, our adviser, Before our first year was com- pleted, we lost a member of our class, Marilyn Meihls, who moved to Mendon, This left twelve of us to continue on in the educational world. We entered the halls again in September, l9M7, to find only ten in our sophomore class. Bob Grice had moved and Hubert Allen left the halls of Neptune High School, Dorothy Harner was our leader with Miss Bair as our adviser, At the end of the year we felt we had achieved a good beginning toward a more successful life. We entered the fall of l9h8 with ten members. This was an important year for us, because of the extra activities of junior life, We chose Dorothy Harner as our leader, and Miss Bair was our adviser, We presented our class play, Mr, Beane From Lima, on November 12. It was a delight to entertain the seniors with a reception at Hotel Argonne in Lima. This banquet was held in the Crystal Room on May l3. Our class has been very active in the sports activities of the school, We have three cheer- leaders in our midst and three basketball players. One of our members is playing baseball this spring.
