SEMQZQ? !-XXSTCDYQY In September, l9h7, thirteen 'Greenhorn Fresh- menn started their school life at Neptune. The seniors started us off on the right track by giving us an initiation party. We chose Russell Poor for our president this first year. Next year we were happy to find the nSloppy Sophomoresn back for their second year of high school. About the middle of the year Mary Howell moved to Buckland. Doris Ballinger was president for this year. As nJolly Juniorsn we had thirteen in our class again because Helen Martin had joined us at the beginning of the year. David Roether was our president this year. We started off our big moments by presenting the junior class play The Antics of Andrew. On May 5, we entertained the Seniors at a reception in their honor in the Crys- tal Room of the Hotel Argonne at Lima. Seven of our boys were on the basketball team and four of our girls were varsity cheerleaders. Eleven nDignified Seniorsu came back this year to complete their education. We are sorry that Leonard Baer and Helen Martin were not with us this year. Leonard had decided to work for Uncle Sam and had joined the Air Force, and Helen had moved to Columbus. We chose Delores Rhyne as our presi- dent. On April 6, we presented our senior class play Rest Assured. We were honored by the Junior Class with a reception in Lima at the Hotel Argonne on April 27. We all look forward to our trip to Washington, D. C. We leave on May 27 at 9:h5 p.m. from Lima. We count on lots of fun and sights. Now that our school education is over, we must go out into the world and do our best. We will try to be what we are instead of what we are not. We are sorry to sec our school days come to a close, but we are rather anxious to see what lies before us in the days to come.
