No game finished without Bob in complete exhaustion from playing as hard as he could play, and no game finished without some always needed points made by Bob. We'll miss you, JOHN SITES Guard, he never found a man to guard that was of comparable' size all season, yet when HJaken took them over, their point-making spree stopped short. An aggressive, and smart player, he lead and steadied the team for most of the year. We are going to miss you, and hope you'll be easy on us when we play the Alumni next season. RUSSELL POOR Forward, a hard man to keep up with Hs a forward. Short, fast, and experienced. He has his off and on nights, but watch for him next year for Russell is a junior. DAVID ROETHER Forward, a hard fighting forward. He is always in there fighting until the final minute. This is Dave's first year on the varsity, but watch for Dave next year for he is a junior. LEONARD BAER He can either play guard or forward. Leonard is a very accurate shot, and a very smart player on defense and offense. Watch for him next year, for he will be back playing for the Wildcats. WILLIAM ROETHER Center, has the height and the ability of a center, he is a man hard to beat in getting the rebounds. He will be in there in the center position next year, for Bud is only a junior. JIM HAYES Guard, a small boy but one with form for a guard. Experience may make great improvement. Keep your eye on Jim for he will be back next year. RAX FLORE Forward, has the ability of a forward, but this is his first year on the basketball squad. He will be in there next year. Ray is a junior. GUY SCHMIDT Guard, one of the best players on the Reserve team. He is very good on defense. With more experience he will be a real player. A junior. TED YEWEY Center, on the reserve team. A fast and improving player with rebounding and pivoting his special. We can count on him for the next two years

L DOYLE BALLINGER Guard, his accurate shooting and speed will make him a leading player for Neptune in the future. Pete is a sophomore. RICHARD GRIMM Forward, a small boy but one with the form for a forward. Richard is only a sophomore. DON HARRIS Enjoys the game, and he will improve as he acquires more ability through practice. DONALD HEPPEARD Capable of becoming a player by more experience. We hope to see more of him in later years. LARRY KRUGER Forward, has form and ability to be- come vNeptune's best player. He is a sure shot, quick, and a hard man to beat. This is his first year. BOB WOLFE Forward, capable of becoming a player by more experience. We will see more of him in later years. MARION HEINDEL This is the first year for Marion. With more experience he will show great improvement. Watch for him in the future years. A freshman. HAROLD WOLFE Manager, a very capable manager. He likes to be with the boys. CHEERLEADERS Doris Ballinger, Esther Harner, Cora Vantilburg, and Delores Rhyne, for the Varsity. Betty Rhyne, Dorothy Kaylor, Myrna Baer, and Joan Michaels for the reserves. They are always willing to cheer the team on. This is the first year for all of them. MR. JACKSON Coach, always likes to associate with the boys in all kinds of sports. Boys appreciate working with him as much as he enjoys working with them.
