The Sen- iors helped us to start the year off with a bang by giving an initiation party for the freshies. , To lead us through our freshman year we chose Larry Kruger, president, Myrna Baer, vice-presi- dentg Betty Jean Rhyne, secretary-treasurerg and Marion Heindel, class reporter, with Miss Yewey as our adviser. We were glad to have three out of four of our boys playing basketball and also two boys playing baseball. Four of the freshman girls are reserve cheerleaders. We freshies are climbing from our freshman year to our future years in high school and are not clinging to our old ways and experiences. 4 2 2 Y 0 Bob Wolfe: NThe same tornado that blew away my father's wagon dumped an automobile in the front yard.N Marion Heindel: nHuh, that's no tornado. That was a trade wind.U Mother: NWhy did you strike your little sister?N Larry Kruger: WWell, we were playing Adam and Eve and instead of tempting me with the apple, she ate it herself.H Father had his daughter on his knee. HWhat are you going to do when you grow up?U he asked her. nI'm going to marry an engineer,N replied Dorothy Kaylor. WAnd what kind?N he asked, Wa civil engineer?W WOh,W replied Dorothy, Hit doesn't matter what kind. I'll soon make him civilgn
