The city then changed, and I again found myself in Neptune, where I met Marjorie Stephenson, who had just driven from Celina where she said she was keep- ing a store and living alone. Elden Houts, I after- ward learned, had played her false and she had re- mained an old maid. From Celina I went to St. Marys, and while wan- dering about the streets was attracted by a sign which read: nWe Can Increase Your Height, Short People Do Not Despair.n I realized how disagreeable it is to be short, so decided to give them a trial. I opened the door to the tumble-down shop, and there stood a blonde lady very slim and tall. While I was trying to think whom she resembled, she said, HDon't you remember me, Bonnie?W Sure enoughg 'twas Marlene Frahmg just as I expected Joe Suhr was her husband. I made my way out to Rhyne's where I met Thelma Figley. She had taken unto herself a husband, Ted Yewey, and together they were demonstrating the value of cereals of all kinds. His best and only comedy was UThe Cheerful Liar,H in which I remember John once made a big hit in Neptune. I decided to take a train back East to Balti- more. The train stalled as we were coming into St. Louis. The engineer requested all of the passengers to get off. As I was walking up toward the big en- gine, I heard someone say in a gruff voice, HWhere are my crewmen?W The engineer was grumbling when he got off of the train. I noticed that the walk was familiar and sure enough it wasn't a man, but it was my old classmate, Dorothy Harner. We were thrilled to see each other, and as we talked, I found out Dorothy was engineer of the Baltimore and Ohio. Then the scene changed, and I found myself at Neptune. A truck stopped out in front. A lady came to the door and to my great surprise it was Katharyn Harris. Katharyn told me she had taken over the fertilizer plant and now has employed 250 workers. She said, WDick and I are running a fine business.W Again the scene changed, and before my eyes there arose the beautiful Quaker City of Philadel- phia. In one of its most prominent business sec-
