The Prom was held at the Squire's Pub on May 24, 1985. On that warm spring night, ladies in full taffeta gowns and gentlemen in top hats, gloves and canes danced to the music provided by the DJ from Wall of Sound. The dance, which started at 8 p.m., ended at 1 a.m. for some, but many continued on to other parties-even to New York. However, the most popular way to enjoy the rest of the evening was in the time-honored tradition of watching the sun come up over the ocean. Top left: Andrew Goodman and joy Winchester chat on the dance floor. Above: The King's court receive their applause with cheerful smiles. Left: Vicki Elmer and jay Kupisioski. Far left: Queen Dee Bright and King Mark Set- teducato dance to the theme song.
