Education MRS MARGARET PAGE points out a calendar date of one of the many activities that the band and chorus were involved in this year. Mrs. Page instructs elementary and high school band and chorus classes. Also she gives lessons to individual students. MR. LARRY FREEMAN uses the chalkboard in giving a presentation to his biology class. Other subjects taught by Mr. Freeman include history, U.S. government, and physical education. He also serves as sponsor of the freshman class. 13

N.H.S. Teachers Provide Quality MRS. CAROL GERROND puts the finishing touches on a display in the library. Besides teaching all the English classes at N.H.S., she serves as librarian and sponsor of the Mask Script Club. Having a quirk conference in the study hall, these teachers prepare to begin another day of teaching responsibilities. MR. JOHN NELL calculates students' grades for an upcoming issue of report cards. Aside from teaching introductory business, basic math, geometry, Accounting I, Accounting II, and drivers education, Mr. Nell has the responsibility of being Annual Staff advisor. 12

Bus Drivers. Janitors, and Cooks Work to Keep N.H.S. Functioning Smoothly. As transportation director, Mr. Kenady confers with Vivian Williamson and Ray Schuyf about their scheduled bus runs. As a sign that another school day is over. Bill and Germaine Breitbach begin their daily routine of cleaning the study hall floor. Lorraine Pease and Vivian W illiamson work in planning nutritional and appealing meals to be sent to the high school students and faculty. Once prepared, the meals were served at the high school by Germain Breitbach. 14
