If is the desire of the Annual Qtaff to dedicate this thirty-sixth volume of The Zephyr to Mr. Larry Freeman in recognition of his time and effort spent in his teaching and coaching duties at Neponset High School. Mr. Freeman began his teaching career at Neponset in 1962 after graduating from Eureka College. He coached continuously for fourteen years being involved with football, basketball, and track. This year, he returned to coaching the boys' basketball team after a seven year absence. Also during his years at N.H.S., he has taught various subjects including physical education, biology, health. American history, and world history as well as sponsoring various classes and organizations. 6 Mr. Freeman pauses during one of the practice cessions where he hes spent many hours of effort leading to numerous victories—and some frustrating defeats. The trails they raced ranged from two to five miles. The fall weather was agreeable to the members M while they practiced for their meets. Mr. 8isco has not only served as principal, but also as the high school's athletic director, cross-country coach, track coach, and the district's transportation director. This was his twenty-seventh year in the educational field: last year he was on the administrative staff at Walker Missouri. Mr. 8isco attended college at Southwestern Missouri 8tate and the University of Missouri. Superintendent Anthony Prochaske checks his desk calendar for the upcoming school events. Mr. Prochaske has made great progress with the district’s financial state during the four years he h8s been on the administrative staff.
