“Progress Show” Jack Scott demonstrates the proper usage of a fire extinguisher to the suff members during the teacher's workshop held at the beginning of the school year. Mrs. Chris Kniep eagerly unwraps some articles of food so she can make a salad for a classroom demonstration. Mrs. Kniep taught home economics, health, consumers education, and was advisor of the F.H.A. In addition, she taught two home economics classes at Bradford High School. Mr. Clinebell grades some Biology II tests as his students begin their study of the next chapter in their textbooks. 25

Teachers Promote “Student” Mr. Larry Freeman jump to block the volleyball in his first-hour of physical education. Along with three other hours of physical education, Mr. Freeman also taught American Government and American History. He was also the Freshman Class Sponsor. Mr. Dave Jarrett looks on to see that Richard maintains the correct timing during an individual lesson. Being Mr. Jarrett's first year of teaching, he taught band and chorus at both the grade school as well as providing individual instruction for students throughout the day. Mr. Jim Clinebell looks joyous after looking up from his microscopic view of pond life. Mr. Clinebell taught Biology I II, chemistry, along with grade school science. During the year, Mr. Clinebell received a state grant enabling him to develop several computer programs to be utilised by the students and staff at N.H.S. Although he had taught previously, this was Mr. Clinebeirs first year in the Neponset School system. 24

Bus Drivers, Janitors, and Cook Provide Needed Services for the Show Mrs. Helen Williams. Mrs. Sandy Stinson, and Mr. Bill Woodward check under the hood on one of the buses. They, along with Mrs. Vivian Williamson and Mr. Elmer Anderson provided all the transportation for the school district. As they put on storm windows, Germaine and Bill Breitbach perform one of their many janitorial duties. Lorraine Pease, the new cook, gets the food ready to send up to the high school. New equipment was purchased this year to accomodate the sue cessful high school satellite program for lunches. 26
