“Student Progress of Prime Interest Mr . Joyce Mowbray check out ihe attendance record . Having an average daily attendance of sixty at the high school wa a crucial i »ue this year in order to continue receiving state aid. Mr . Mowbray served as secretary for the elementary school and for the superintendent. (Seated) Mr. Jim Fox, Mr. Jack Scott, Mr. Jon Pickering, (standing) Mr. Randy Crofton, Mr. Doug Miles, and Mr. Dick Heise give their attention to a proposal presented by board president, Mr. Ron Miller. The board met the second Monday evening of each month in order to conduct the routine business and make major decisions for the school district. A special project of compiling a policy handbook required a great deal of time and effort on the part of board members. Keeping things on schedule is the high school principal, Mr. Larry Stinson. Mr. Stinson also served as director of athletics and of transportation during his second year at N.H.S. Friendly and energetic. Mr. Stinson was always seeking ways to enrich the educational system by taking advantage of opportunities afforded. 20

to the Administration Mr. Anthony Prochaska tries out the new TRS 80 computer which was purchased for the school by the Parent Teacher's Organization. Mr. Prochaska, who serves as District 307's superintendent, has been dedicated to the welfare of the students at Nepon-set while keeping the system in a sound financial condition. This was Mr. Prochas-ka's third year with the Nep-onset School. % 21
