VILA Members Enjoy Again this year, the FHA girls and their sponsor found themselves Involved in several different kinds of projects. Among them were the Freshman Welcome which was held at Johnson Sauk Park, the FHA Progressive Supper, a caroling party, and FHA-Mothers Basketball Game, and a trip to Peoria. On the field trip to Peoria on April 30, the group toured Proctor Hospital, the police station, and Northwoods Mall. This year the chapter secretary, Nancy Heiser, had the distinction of also being Section 2C secretary. Therefore her duties included mailing the minutes of each section meeting to each of the chapters in the Section. Chapter mothers this year were Mrs. Virginia Doye and Mrs. Janice Heiser who helped out in many ways. Advisor for the first semester was Mrs. Mary Ann Block while Mrs. Dorothy Maxwell served as chapter advisor during the second semester. President Marilyn Heiser discusses future FHA activities during a planning session with the other officers—namely Theresa Steffen (treasurer), Patti Stetson (vice-president of projects). Sue Mueller (vice-president of recreation), Sue Brown (vice-president of degrees), Jayne Doye (1st vice-president), Nancy Heiser (secretary), Margo Kidd (2nd vice-president), and Jan Gerrond (historian). 30
