Zephyrs Become Little Eight Co-Champions Junior Varsity squad was composed of Lane Norton, Tom Kroot, John Wall, Kevin Brown, Gary Krahn, Fred Kopp, Dave Mueller, Gregg Mahnesmith, Butch Skaggs, and Jim Heiser, Chuck Thumma and Julius Maes served as managers for the season. Roger Pratt goes for 2 against the Annawan Braves. During his senior year, Roger made All-State honorable mention for Class AA schools, first team All-State for Class A and first team All-Conference. In addition, Roger had the distinction of being the third highest scorer in the state. Dwain Carley tries to clear out a rebound during the Annawan-Nepon-set clash. Being a key game, the Zephyrs lost sole title to the Little Eight Championship by only one point. Junior Varsity Coach Bob Tasker worked hard with his squad during their 5-11 season. 26
