Upon our arrival at the Merchandise Mart, we went on a two hour tour and saw furniture, rugs, and all the other expensive things that go into homes. For dinner, we went to Berghoffs, a German restaurant. The Marina Towers were closed, so we went right on to the Buddhist Temple where an Oriental minister talked to us about his religion. We saw the incense burners and rice pots. We then went to Marshall Fields to spend all our money. That evening, 37 sleepy girls boarded the bus for home. Walking down a Chicago street.
