On August 29, 1960, nineteen bewildered freshies entered the halls of N.H, S, After recuperating from initiation we sponsored our first real high school party--the Valentine's Party. Our president during our freshman year was Barb Carley. In our sophomore year we lost Susan Papecek and Pat Jackson, reducing our number to sixteen. Our president, John Gerrond, guided us in sponsoring the Homecoming Dance with Oriental Paradise as our theme. Our Junior year brought about a feeling of being upperclassmen. Our big project of the year was Prom. After much planning and preparation, we presented to the seniors our Deep Sea Fantasy at the Bureau County Country Club in Princeton which followed the banquet at Rici's Restaurant. Thanks to our President, Tim Golby, our class accomplished much. We also sponsored an April Fool’s Party with the Comets as our band. Seniors--seniority. Here we were at last, or already? Our main functions were to sponsor the Christmas Party, keep the underclassmen in their places, attend Prom without all the fuss, to graduate, and to have fun on our class trip. Our president was Mike Johnson, and our Homecoming Queen and King were Barb Carley and Tim Colby. We lost Linda Burrows, which dropped our number to fifteen.
