PROPHECY The Class of 1961 met for a reunion at the recently constructed Student Union on the campus of the University of N'eponset. Jim Hill, senior class president in '61, acted as master of ceremonies. Each of the members present was asked by Hill to give a brief account of their present vocation. Larry Pratt said that he is now working as a rocket engineer. His latest feat was the landing of a manned rocket on the moon. Louise McKie told us that she is employed as a marine biologist by the government. Audrey Bennett now lives in Miami, where she cares for her 3 year old son and her 30 year old husband. In her spare time she works as a receptionist in her husband's clinic or helps to organize new charities for needy groups. Robert Berry is living in Oklahoma, on 600 acres of oil wells, with his wife and three children. David Cannon, also the owner of some oil wells, runs a chain of oil stations in Saudi, Arabia, where he lives with his harem of exotic women, whose many talents are--censored. Mary Carlson is now employed as Mrs. John Bennett, and is at work raising tax deductions for her farming husband. Dave Dana is a specialist at Peterson, and is married to the former Nita Gingrich. They have four lovely children. Les Dahl is a sergeant in the intelligence branch of the army. Susan Gerrond is a professor of child development at the University of Neponset. Bob Bennett now farms 800 acres of the finest land in Northern Illinois. He is engaged to a young woman he met at the International Stock Show. Bill Holmes, who is a regular playboy himself, designs bedrooms for Playboy Magazine. Marilyn Papacek works as an interior decorator for her husband, who is an architect. Bob Rejlenius is a doctor of psychology, and recently married the young socialite, Lydie Bird Johnson, daughter of ex-vice president, Johnson. Allie Rednour is the Bureau County Home Advisor. She just returned from four years of work at the University of Hawaii. Mary Swearingen is now the head chemist for the Dupont Synthetic Fabric Corporation. Pat Stetson writes editorials for the Democrat Bulletin, when she can spare the time away from her farmer husband, who lives in Southern Illinois. Because of a new arrival to the family, Pat couldn’t make it. so her husband, who was present, gave this account of her activities. Jerry Swearingen is making a career of the air force, where he is a mechanic. Jim Hill closed the program by saying he was now a buyer of men's clothing for a large firm in Chicago. 15
