SENIOR CLASS POEM Shut the windows, lock the doors, Don’t let anyone go home. This may be embarrassing, But here is our class poem. Billy is a senior boy. In his heart is lots of joy? To go to college is his aim. To be an accountant is his claim. Cecil sits in class and smirls, And rods around in his gray Merc. To Kewanee he will go, And where he stops nobody knows. Carolyn for the team gives a yell, For she knows they'll do real well. After school she’ll be a nurse, Then, being sick won't be a curse. John Rednour is a real nice lad. He's cool and collected, never mad; His favorite subject isn’t school. But he thinks A z Class is real cool. Sharon is a real nice girl, To all the boys she’ll give a whirl. School work bores her, as you know. Cause she’d rather be at the show. Janet is well-liked by all. In her school work she'll never fall; Teaching will be her vocation. The classroom’s her favorite location. Sandy is one of the senior girls. In her hair are many curls. She doesn't like school work too well. Larry has a little car, When he’s in it, he goes far; He honks his horn and blinks his light, And takes a cute girl out at night. Ron's one of the nicest guys, And for a certain girl he sighs. He plans on farming after school! And as a farmer he’ll be real cool. Buddy is a member of our class, lie's the one that’s sure to pass; Mathematics is his dish, To be an engineer is his wish. Dick sure likes the Junior class, Or is it just a c ertain las ? We wish him luck in all he does. For being the fine President he was. Johnny, Johnny, is his name, On his hair he should use Tame. Although the girls think it's real sharp. On it the teachers all do harp. Jim is one of the senior boys. He's always making lots of noise. His favorite subject is Physics. And now we're ending it because We can’t think of another rhyme. It was the first time that we could remember of Neponset’s having its Christmas Concert in the afternoon. Therefore, we were anxious to see how this new idea would work out and it seemed to be very successful.
