Junior Class History In the fall of 54 , twenty ambitious freshmen entered Neponset High School. We were given a hard time until after the initiation - which we didn't enjoy. Our big project that year was sponsoring a very successful Valentine Party. On August 30, 1955, twenty-one sophomores were present for enrollment. We lost Micky Kazmeiski but gained Kay Kizer and Bill Stopp. John Moeller joined us during the second semester. Our class had the honor of having Becky, Linda, and Mary chosen as cheerleaders that year. Of course, our big job of the year was initiating the freshmen. We also had the pleasant job of decorating the gym for the Homecoming Dance to the theme of Autumn Leaves. Twenty-one members met at the doors of NHS to enroll as upperclassmen. Mike Cosner was the only one not with us. We elected our officers as follows.- Dan, President; Mary Ann, Vice-President; Nancy, Secretary; Linda, Treasurer; and Stephen and Becky, Reporters.
