.152 i is Time Is On Our Side independent study, popularly known as free mods, means something different to each student. It seems that some people may have three or four hours of free mods on o particular day, while some have only two or three free mods. The decision of how to spend the free time is on individual one, and every student uses their time differently. Most students divide their time proportionally into study time and relaxation time. The resource centers and media center are the best places to catch up on homework and to study. The commons is the place to talk with friends or just sit and have something to eat. Some students prefer to relax in the media center with 0 book or magazine. What- ever the choice is, Armstrong has a variety of places to spend a free mod. Are we at Armstrong representative of the fosh- FOIIOWing Falcon FGShiOn ion world - totol Chic, dressed, as they say, Hfit to kill ? Or, on the other hand, are we so isolated in the midwest that our only concern is keeping worm? It is probably most accurate to conclude that Armstrong is somewhere in the middle - 0 happy medium of modern foshion, comfortable clothes, and our own peculiar fads. Calvin Klein. Gloria Vanderbilt, and Sosson are high fashion names which turn up often oround Armstrong. On the more practical side of clothing, Lee, Big Smith, and the Limited are likely to be found on the tags. Certoin styles seem to hit Armstrong particularly hard such as: overalls; tight, straight - leg jeons worn with high, spikey heels; jeon skirts with slits; turtlenecks sprinkled with tiny hearts; ploin flonnel shirts Che old clossici; clogs mow for guys as well as girlsy and cowboy boots. It is hard, then, to classify Armstrong's foshions into one category; although there are many fods and styles that everyone seems to conform to, it is also 0 matter of individuality.
