Lastyear's Varsity debate team ended the season with a coveted trophy Two debaters Terri and Mike finished their high school debate career as did Coach Holman. Members of the winning team were istandingi Mike Howell, Terri Marta, Steve Hill, and Mike Anderson. The Varsity did well with new coach Mr. Peterson with Kevin Erickson winning a first place speaker a- ward in Crystal Falls. In January at a meet in Northern Michigan they qualified for downstate competition.
