Although luttle lulus cheery gran didnt capture honors In the Homecoming parade at captured the hearts of the spectators The aptness to our paper cvty was noted by the crowd of them all our prom Oruental Interlude Prom co chairmen Sue Frakes and Don Martlny selected Ron Harvey for the orchestra We put up decoratuons, they fell down, and soon nt was prom time Munchmg Chinese fortune cookles at the contmuatuon of the prom we all agreed ut had been a gala evening The sprung also saw our classmates receuve many honors Helen Loehnmg was selected to attend Badger Gurls State and Bull Kuehl Jum Quade and John Kurch georg went to Badger Boys State Julue Smith was the Venetian attendant Suddenly we were sensors Wuth three years behmd us and only one left, we conducted a final campaugn for class officers and elected Ron Nnchols, presndent Mark Alesch, vuce presldent Helen Loehmng, secretary and Jlm Markettu treasurer Our last bug effort to wan Homecoming honors featured Lnttle Lulu saying When l One Pops Up Well Give Em a Blow' Our beauties for the year were Sharon Schwerun Homecoming queen and Joann Weugt and Judy Caple Venehan queen and attendant Venetlan Nught was July 4 Guidance and vocational counselmg so filled our school tnrne that we almost dudnt realize how close graduation was We qunckly measured each other for caps and gowns whlle makung final preparations for the Sensor Smorgasbord The Sensor Banquet followed n June All too soon the Baccalaureate services were be hund us Then on June 3 Mr E H Klemnell addressed us after student speakers Joann Weugt and Jack Lemke expressed theur welcome and apprecuatlon We sat look mg back over our four full years at Neenah Hugh School untll our names were called and we walked up to re celve our diplomas and last handshakes After vlsntmg Wmnebogo State Hospital as a part of thelr social nroblems class semors became In terested In thus lnstututlon Steve Stllp and Jlm Quads were chosen to present a pg saw donated by the students ln this way we dnd our part to promote mental health ln the commumty 23 If ' .. , 1 I Q 1, S G 1 l l l l l H l 3 ltldll 'B 1 W 1' 1 . 2 ,s X it t .
