MR. ROY suND DEDICATION We, the students of Neenah High School, in dedicating this 1954 Rocket to Mr. Roy Sund, wish to express our appreciation for his thirteen years of service to our school. As President of the Neenah School Board, he has given unceasingly of his time to the furtherance of the Neenah educational building programs. Mr. Sund was born in Appleton but is a graduate of Neenah High School. He became a member of the Board of Education on July 1, 1940. On July 12, 1949, he was elected president of the board, a position he now holds. During these years, Wilson School, Hoover School and the Wilson Addition have been constructed. Currently the first of three additions to the high school is under construction. Mr. Sund has been a prime motivating factor not only in the building program, but also in improv- ing the educational standards of Neenah schools. To you, Mr. Sund, for the unselfish public service you have given and for that which you will continue to give, we, the students, wish to say a sincere thank-you . 3
