THE N CLUB Any boy who has been awarded the officlal N for participating in any one of the schools major sports IS eligible for membership in the N club an honorary athletlc organization This year the N club has twenty six active members The officers of the club are Wlllls Haase presldent Harry Neubauer vice presl dent and Paul Cerhardt secretary and treasurer The purpose of the club IS to asslst in the sponsoring of school and school coach suggested and directed the formation of the N club in I920 Since a few of the school regulations have been changed it was nec essary to reconstruct the N club constitution at the beginning of the present school term The abandoning of lnltlatlons was one of the changes therefore any boy winning an N automatically becomes an N club member without bemg initiated The members also voted to make the N club strictly an honorary orgamzation and to abandon the system of regular meetings for a few meetings which are held only on important occasions Page Twenty Four n U ' CC 37 especially athletic activities.
