-I l D K4 SENIOR CLASS HISTORY ln the fall of 1924 thus Hall of Learning the Neenah hugh school took unto its walls one hundred and fifteen seekers of knowledge We were green and consequently we were placed un the freshmen class lt was best suuted for our needs At the first class meetung we elected Douglas Barnett for presudent Jeanette Baxter and oan Aylward were elected vuce presudent and sec retary treasurer respectlvely The football season lured practucally a full team of frosh Several of our number also reported for basketball and later for baseball Wxllus Haase won a letter un baseball Funally the first year passed and une then vacatuon As we entered our second year of hugh school we began to feel that we were really a part of the hugh school A desure to be un uts actuvutues took hold of us Gordon Malouf Clayton Cumungs H len Chrustofferson and G neva ensen were chosen to lead us The literary socuetues the glee clubs and even the Cub staff found several sophomores taking part un their actuvutues ln athletucs the class of Z8 began to shune Harry lNeu bauer Gordon Malouf and Wllluam Holtz received letters un football The other sports al o saw some of us ont We ccrtaunly cannot forget to mention that the gurls began workung for theur N s ln I926 2 7 we experienced a very successful year Our officers were Gordon Brown presudent Paul G rhardt vuce presudent and Wulda Wilson secretary treasurer The speech plays and the operetta howed some of our dramatuc talent Myron Krueger and Raymond Haaker represented us un debate The Cutuze s Athl tuc Field druve wu h artuly Wullus Haase Paul Gerhardt Harry Neubauer Elmer Radtke George Pratt Ralph Hauser Robert Marty and Gordon Malouf all proved valuable on Neenah s eleven All wuth the exception of Gordon play ed on the gruduron un their mor y ar also ln basketball we were represented by George Pratt Wullu Haase Elmer Radtke ames Ehr gott and Abe Stone as manager These players also represented us on the basketball team thus year which was the mo t successful ba lfetball season that Neenah has ever experuenced Our trackmen were Gordon Brown Paul Gerhardt lrvun Gunther and Manager Neary Paul Ger hardt was captaun of the football team whule Wullus Haase puloted the basketball team Our officers thus vear were Wullus Haase president Luculle Czanne vuce presudent and Dorothy Dunham secretary treasurer Many of our class worked on the Cub durung theur last two years of hugh school Douglas Barnett Paul Gerhardt Myron Krueger Harry Neubauer loan Aylward Eleanor Eberleun Dora Knudson Esther Peterson Helen Hal.ser Harvey lorgensen and Frederuck Herruck were on the staff ln short thus I the hustory of the Class of 28 Many thungs could have been added to thu hvstory but we had to guve only the hugh spots of our hugh school lufe The detauls wull remaun cherushed memories to Commencement approaches and now we must wrute finus to our hugh school careers Pg Eght uf I J . i ' .
