TRACK 19' 7 This is the first time since I922 that Neenah hi h chool had a track team and the Reds went through a successful season On Wednesday April 6 Gordon Brown was elected captain of the team and from then on track began in earnest After two weeks of hard practice an inter class meet was held at the green The competition was close but the Juniors won with I I0 I pomts The other classes secured pomts as fol The first mter scholastic meet was held with Wrightstown here on May 7 The visitors emerged victorious in a closely contested meet 60 2 3 to 56 I 3 At the conference meet held at De Pere on Saturday May I4 Neenah won fifth place Oconto Falls with an experienced team won the met Adelbert Blank placed first ln the 220 yard dash Bill Stacker second in the 440 yard dash Paul Gerhardt second in 880 yard run Captain Brown won third in the 720 yard low hurdles and lrwin Gunther won third in the 880 yard run.
