In the eighth grade we won the attendance award and were given a skip day at Big Springs. As we entered out first year of high school, we began to grow and think about our future. That year, 1976-77, we spent our class trip at D As sophomores'wTagam won an attendance award and went to Marcum Springs for the day Amidst the water balloons, not a single sophomore returned home with dry clothes. . . . .. We pulled together our junior year selling posters, giving sockhops and working the concession stand at baftetball glames The end result was the most elaborate banquet and Prom Neelyville High has ever seen. Our theme for the Prom was, We May Never Pass This Way Aqam The gym had been transformed into a wonderland with colorful fountains, streamers, and stars ... . , With our senior year, we begin a new decade The Iranian crisis is foremost in the news as well as questions concerning reinstatement of Our motto this year as well as last year has been very meaningful to our class. Don't walk in front of me, I may not follow, Don t walk behind me, I may not lead. Just walk beside me and be my friend.
