Mother never told me about ultra-brite. 29 SENIOR SUPERLA TIVES These students rank academically in the top of their class. Superlatives are chosen by faculty mem- bers. Selection is based on academic achievement, character, citizenship, school spirit, and service to the school. These Superlatives have gained the respect and confidence of faculty and students alike. They have set a pace in scholarship, activities, and personal standards worthy of being followed by underclassmen. Brenda Berry Grace Boyers Brenda Berry is one who displays standards of success above most other students. Her favorite classes have been math and history courses. During her high school years, she has enjoyed being a cheerleader and a band member. Brenda's hobbies include playing the piano, sewing, and cooking. Her future plans are to attend Three Rivers Community College and Arkansas State University, where she hopes to major in business management. Brenda's motto is, Look to this day; for yesterday is already a dream and tomorrow is only a vision. Grace Boyers can be characterized as one with a searching interest in life, maintaining a grade point average of 10.81. Academically, she enjoyed the why of chemistry and the problem solving of algebra. Her future plans are to attend Three Rivers Community College and major in business. Some of her most enjoyable high school experiences came from making friends and participating in school activities. Grace says, When you are sorrowful, look again into your heart and you shall see that in truth you're weeping for that one which has been your delight. 30 Peggy Dickison Peggy Dickison is described as compassionate to her fellow- man, and honest. She has a grade point average of 7.41, and has preferred the courses of math, typing, and office machines. Peggy enjoys swimming, reading and sewing as her hobbies. Her best memories of school pertain to watching the Tigers play basketball. She plans someday to work in a business office. Happiness is a perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself, has been Peggy's motto. Donna Fain Donna Fain spends her spare time reading, sewing, and swimming. She also enjoys just being with her friends. Accounting has been her favorite class. Donna is described by her teachers and classmates as being tolerant. Her future plans are to find a job, attend Three Rivers Community Col- lege, and to someday marry. Donna's favorite saying is, To err is human, to forgive is divine. Sandi Hill Sandi Hill's most valued memory of school has been the friends which she has made. She has also enjoyed learning at the vocational school. Sandi's hobbies are reading, riding Hondas, and writing poetry. After graduating, she hopes to become a registered nurse or to enter into some other field of health. She feels, If you really want to hear me, hear what I am not saying -what I may never be able to say. 31 Anna Hribovsek Anna Hribovsek plans to attend Three Rivers Community College and to major in business. She performs in an excellent manner, and shows concern for others. Her hobbies are read- ing, listening to music, writing, and just relaxing. Educational- ly she has enjoyed band, bookkeeping, and driver's education. Having had fun with the rest of her classmates in one of Anna's favorite memories of school. Anna's motto is, I know not all that may be coming, but be it what it will. I'll go to it laughing. Janis Morgan Janis Morgan, the only superlative to graduate at semester, enjoys sewing, singing, cooking, long walks, and making people laugh. She plans to work, get married, and maybe attend night college. Janis mainly enjoyed just being with her friends at school. Her favorite classes were clothing, consumer educa- tion, and physical education. Janis tries to go through life by following the motto, If you can't always try to smile, be happy, and enjoy life: What's the use in being alive? Roger Walters Mike Smody Mike Smody, who has a grade point average of 8.58, feels that one should never put off till tomorrow what he can do today. Mike's favorite courses have been the science and math classes. He plans to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree at Southeast Missouri State University and then to go into farm- ing. This year Mike has obtained his flying license, so in his spare time, besides swimming and fishing, he flies planes. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, summarizes Roger Walter's feelings toward life. He has enjoyed being able to communicate with the student body and has also enjoyed being a member of the Tiger basketball and baseball teams. His favorite classes have been biology and chemistry. Roger's hobbies include hunting and playing pool. He hopes to either attend Southeast Missouri State University and major in agriculture, or to go into construction work.
