The Tiger 1968 At the conclusion of four full years. We slip from the hand which has molded us To face life as individuals. These four years will be remembered and cherished; If we have successfully met their challenge Of responsibility and opportunity. Facing the future with Youth, enthusiasm, and ambition. Each of us will have A hand in things to come. Whether we become parents. Dentists, chemists, or lawyers. Tire quality of our four years here Determines the quality of our future. Our role may, or may not, be worthwhile; It is up to us and the way we apply Ourselves, our knowledge, and our abilities. --------N.H.S. P y d g y I have enjoyed coaching the Neelyville Tigers this year. The boys were very cooperative and willing to learn. And in addition to unusual ability, they also displayed good sportsmanship. Of course 1 am proud of our 25-4 record and our nine trophies. But most of all, I am proud of the way the boys got along together. To me it is GREAT! In my opinion the boys are the best in the state! They started the year early by attending the Jonesboro cheerleading clinic, at which they performed a Pompon routine. The girls have done their best with pep assemblies and skits and earning money for uniforms and camp. The enthusi- asm of the students and the spirit of the girls have helped lead the N.H.S. After completion of the basketball games the girls busy themselves playing volleyball, softball, and training for the track team. In addition to being skilled in cheerleading the majority of these girls are good athletes. The girls also are often involved in money making projects such as car washes, bake sales and slave sales in which to raise money to spon- sor delegates at the cheerleading clinic each year. Working and playing with the cheerleaders is most en- joyable and I’m pleased that this is one of my duties. Mrs. McKinney SPONSOR 50 Mrs. McKinney, Sponsor; L. Flurry, S. Gutterman, P. Caudle, L.
