SEATED: Karol Suder, I.illi Gowen, Helen Talbott, Annette Duncan, Anna MurrelL This year book of the class of 1957 is an attempt to capture and preserve the many memories of our Senior Year. We have recorded on these pages some of the happenings of our school days, and the names and pictures of our teachers, classmates, and friends. When we review these pages in the years to come, may they bring back happy recollections of our high school days. APPRECIATION MR J. M. HUMPHRIES Our appreciation for the wonderful work and patience you have shown us cannot easily be expressed in words, Mr, Humphries. There have been many times when you have been patient with our remarks and childish tricks because of the goodness in your heart. We will always be grateful for your many last chances and for your sincere interest in our marks. Although many of us have never been able to show our feelings, we hope this appreciation will help you to understand. (St MR. W. L GREEN B.S. As the years go on, and as I see our seniors receive their diplomas, I cannot help but share with them and their parents the feeling of satisfaction and joy of accomplishment which must be theirs at commencement time. May I wish you good health, happiness, and success in your future endeavors, whether you go on to higher education, or to take your place in the work-a-day world. I shall always cherish the memory of having known you and also having worked with you at Neelyville High School. W. L Green Superintendent BOARD OF EDUCATION Mr. J. R.
