Foreword Progressing, grade by grade, through the formative years at Needham High, we have become aware of a priceless giftg every boy and girl possesses itg he has only to put the powerful tool to use. What is this gift? Youth: the ability to face each new challenge with enthusiasm, exuberant and irrepressibleg the strength to try again and again in spite of many failuresg the 'constant anticipation of better things. We speak, of course, of youthful spirit, for physical youth fades slowly into age. Youth of spirit is a tool which grows keener with use, an eternal gift.
