Classes: Seniors The candle burned so quickly, three years of flame now wax, perfumed with memories, hardened with wisdom. The projects, the dances, the disappointments, College Boards, decisions to make, lifetimes to mold-all of it has been an incredible journey g incred- ible that it should ever end. And yet it is ended. But the memories are long abiding, barbecue that tasted of success, scholarship and athletic honors that distinguished our class, feeling strange knowing it was the glastg Broughton Homecoming, riding by Broughton at night and seeing it so stately and quiet, cherishing friendships and wondering, Where will we all be next year?, the hush of the crowd as the National Anthem was played at the last home basketball game, the fun of the Student-Faculty Olympics, watching the reigns of Broughton leadership shift, the Senior Prom and thereafterl, exams, the special sound of Class of '65. And there was so much more. Strange, the feeling of watching Broughton slip away into the dark- ness, yet knowing a new dawn is come ....
