Crvy Poole, Whirlvy lloxley. and El'Ill'Sl Charles. As is always the case. the senior year has heen the most outstanding for the Class ol' l956. We feel that the merging of three high schools into one large senior high school has proved most stu-cessful. Under the leadership of our officers: President, Whirley lioxleyg Vice-President, Grey Poole, Secretary, Glenda Edgeg Treasurer, June Vlfatsong and Sgt.- at-Arms, Ernest Charles, and with the aid of our advisor, lVlrs. Nan Price, we have set precedents for a very large senior class. Class projects for the year of l956 were: Career Day, Col- lege Day, and the selling of Christmas wrapping paper for hnanving our two dances, The Queen of Hearts and the Sen- ior Prom. We. with the help of our parents, were the first senior class of Broughton to sponsor a Senior Prom. With fond memories we look hack on our Baccalaureate Service, Senior Picnic, Class Night, Senior Assembly and on the hig night-Graduation, June l, l956. Our years at Broughton will ever remain in our minds and in our hearts as actual years of pleasure. 12 SZ I V' fin 1' 41 'vi Q! Ag.. .4 M 9
