FOREWOIQD WE PRESENT to you, the Student Body, this the 1946 LATIPAC. The ending of the War has brought us great relief from anxiety, and so we have tried to make this year's LATIPAC express the happiness We have felt. The staff believes that the enjoyment of sports has been an important factor in for- getting the days of War. With this in mind much emphasis has been placed on sports-the State Championship in football and our success in basketball, baseball, and track. This book tries to record in story and picture, life as We lived in 1945-46. There are pictures of the teachers who have taught us, of the boys and girls who have been classmates, of the activities in which students have participated, of the boys who were outstanding in athletics, of the oflicers who represented us, and of the superlatives who were selected by the Seniors. We invite you to turn the pages and relive with us this school year. tif UI I VIA RANEY LIBRARY 401.6 Carya Drive 4 R3lf'tPh NC 27610
