We are proud of our Broughton boys who have left our school with only courage and determination in their hearts to fight a good iight. We at home have the un- shakable faith and conviction that they will come back, and come back with bands playing, flags waving, and victory in their songs. We do not have all the boys' names on our service list, for many of them have gone since the LATIPAC went to press. However we, the senior class of 1943, wish to honor all the Broughton boys who have gone. To those whose names follow and to any whose names have been omitted, we dedicate this War Edition of the 1943 LATIPAC to Broughton boys in the service of the United States.

The 1943 LATIPAC stall' was divided into two groups----the editorial staff and the business stall. The editorial staff, advised by Miss Nancy Burger, was composed of nine senior girls who worked diligently during the last semester of school. They had many troubled hours while copying rolls, Writing features, eollet-ting interesting material, typing, and sorting out and arranging pictures. After cutting and recutting according to government orders, we have presented you a War Edition of the l943 LATIPAC, preserving in words and pictures the story of how Broughton students lived a year when their country was at war.
