Panthers Charge Into Football Season The football team, coached by Mr. Lou Straight, assistant coach Mr. Burke Taft, and Mr. Joe Mundell, student observer from C.U., took one victory over Platte Canyon as well as sending four outstanding players to All-Conference. The team played four league games and five nonleague games. The league standings were 1-4. Because they were the best players for their positions, these four Panthers were chosen for AIl-Confer- ence: Jeff Bartell, linebacker, Steve Herzog, guard, Chris Moauro, center, Martin Maloney, quarterback, and T.J. Lutz received honorable mention as running back. Here are this year's team members, listed from left to right.
