Staff Active, Dedicated and Hungry Making the yearbook is never easy and this year's was no exception! There was the usual hassle in trying to meet the deadlines, an overabun- dance of broken rulers, a lack of pencils, and a constant demand for pizza. lVIiss Schaper held the whip while Belinda Keene, editor, handed out assignments. Photo Editor Steve Christman and his staff, Lori Cole, Jeff Crenshaw, Londa lVlohan, and lVIartin lVlaloney inhabited the dark- room and haunted the halls with their cameras. Lance Touve, Layout Editor, assisted by Debbie Blackwell, Kathy Kanach, and Lori Smith, planned the composition of each page. Action verbs and headlines challenged the copy staff, Diane Smith, lst semester editor, Neowyn Brakhage, 2nd semester editor, Deb- bie Blackwell, Kathy Kanach, and Beth lVlaag. :NK 13

Activity Period a Sucoess It's nice to have a break from the regular school work, and that was the purpose of Activity Period every Wednesday afternoon. Students chose one or two activities to partici- pate in, offered by teachers and adults from the community. Hobbies and interests such as gym- nastics, ice-skating, stained glass, rock group, dance, and lots more were available for students to increase their knowledge in a large variety of areas. Linda lVlacCormack, the new Community- Schools coordinator, assisted by Penny Letwin struggled to correct the system and achieved a much improved Activity Period. She has hopes it will be even better next year. ' 12
