PEP CLUB This year the Pep Club's main purpose was to promote school spirit. The of ficers are: President, Pat Riley, Vice-President, Linda Wilson, Secretary-Treas urer, Sue Littler, Student Council Representative, Kathy Hight. CHEERLEADERS Under the leadership of Harriett Richards, the Cheerleaders have had a good year, although the season has been short. STUDENT COUNCIL The Student Council of 64-65 has planned and accomplished many activities. Under the guidance of Mr. Bennington and the leadership of the executive board, the council has been very successful. DRAMA Under the direction of Mrs. Buck the drama club has done a good job. A good time was had by all while work- ing on the plays and learning about the stage. WT' i N115 Q, ,,,, Ywfi, NEWSPAPER All members on the staff showed enthusiasm in the work of the paper, which was done on their own time. With the help of her machinery and the encouraging help of our sponsor, Mrs. Miller, the staff met every dead- line.

INDUSTRIAL ARTS CLUB This is the first year that Nederland High has had a Spanish Club . . . it is small, only five members, but they work hard toward encouraging their fellow students in the study of Spanish. , RIFLE CLUB The newly formed Industrial Arts Club, sponsored by Mr. Buck, is a self-supporting organization, based on the development of the creative abilities of the members. The plans of this club included the building of a slot racing track. The funds for the project were from sales of items created by the members. SPANISH CLUB Quo 1333 , 1 'Kew i ' 'B , .F gr? fi The Rifle Club, under the leadership of Mr. Thurston is a very useful or- ganization. They meet every Thurs- day night from 3:l5 until 4:00 p.m. at the County Garage. 'sr'
