The Board of Trustees of Nebraska Wesley- an' is the governing body elected by the Ne- braska Methodist Conference to hold and ad- minister the affairs of the school. The adminis- trative officials and all faculty members are elected by the Board, which also exercises general supervision of the investment program seeing that all money that comes into the hands of this institution is properly handled Cifld accounted for. Since the Board has but three scheduled meetings during the year, much of the business is carried on by commit- tees. Page 16 Mr. George Knight, president of the Board of Trustees, and Chancellor Forrest At the present time, the Board numbers 42 members. Sixteen must be ordained ministers of the Methodist church. Names are placed in nomination for the memberships by the Ne- braska Annual Conference, by the Board oi Trustees itself, and by the Alumni Association. These nominations are then acted upon at the regular annual meeting of the Nebraska Con- ference. Seven new members elected to the Board this year are Mr. Iames Ackerman, Dr. Harold Bosley, Mr. Lester Dunn, Rev. Richard Miller, Rev. Gayle Moon, Rev. Robert Townsend, and Mrs. A. R. Marquardt.

deans Y fgzh, I, . .t ' P f H. P 5, ' f, I SAM DAI-IL Dean of the College Dean Sam Dahl is one of the busiest men at Wes- leyan. Filling the capacities of Dean of the College, faculty advisor on the Student Senate, ex officio mem- ber of many campus boards and committees, and teacher, he is concerned with every phase of campus life. He is admired and well liked by everyone with Whom he associates. Many a bewildered freshman girl has walked with apprehension into the office, in Old Main, marked Dean of Women. Until she meets our smiling Dean, the coed doesn't know what a wonderful friend and counselor Miss Iohnson can be. She understands the problems of Wesleyan coeds well, and she is always eager to help the girls solve their problems. To aid the new women students, Dean lohnson directs an orientation program first semester. Milton Evans, a newcomer to Wesleyan, has assumed the positions of Dean of Men and Head of the Department of Education. He is advisor for senior practice teachers and takes charge of job placement for boys. Dean Evans takes a friendly interest in stu- dents, both as- individuals and as a group, and al- ways finds time to assist worried students with their problems.
