Fire- works began in the second quarter with a series of alternate runs and passes featuring Dawdy Hawkins. A pass from Hawkins to Wallace did the trick for Wesleyan and the count favored them 6-0 as the half ended. .Midway in the third period another Plainsmen drive resulted in Hawkins crossing the goal-marker for the sec- ond score.
