Governor Frank Morrison signs LB115. a bill advancing 5550.000 :to Nebraska Tech to complete the building program. Witnessing the signing are F. B. Decker. Commissioner of Education. Lowell A. Welsh. Tech Director and Cecil E. Stanley. Ass't. Commissioner for Vocational Education. The bill was signed in March. 1961. H. K. Diers-Introducer of 'LB115. advancing 5550.000 to Nebraska Tech. In May of this year, the Nebraska Vocational Technical School celebrated its twentieth anniversary. Never before in the history of the school has the future looked brighter. It is the conviction of those affiliated with the school that vocational technical education has been accepted as an in- tegral part of Nebraska's educational program. No longer will the school need to be placed in the unenviable under- the-hee1 position in education. Its merits have been justi- fied and its future is undoubtedly secure. On the following pages are pictures of current staff members, students, departmental functions and other activi- ties in which students participate.
