A Health Environment Parents who send their boys and girls away from home for their education, always consider carefully the moral tone of the community in which the school is located. No single factor in the education of young people is of more im- portance than a healthy, clean and wholesome environment during this formative period in their lives. When the Nebraska School of Agriculture was established at Curtis, the citizens pledged themselves to maintain a clean town, where par- ents should feel no hesitation in sending their boys and girls for their high school training. As one of the business institutions of Curtis, which has contributed to the growth and development of the community, we pledge again to the people of Western Nebraska that we will do everything that we can to see that the same high standards are maintained, so that students will find in Curtis, a clean, wholesome little city, worthy to be the home of such an institution as the Nebraska School of Agricul- ture.
