Bursting with seniority Bursting with pride could well be the slogan of the senior class this year. Several class members helped get the year off to a good start by forming a unique club, the Burr Brothers, to help raise school spirit. The senior class members were active in a variety of school events, from athletics to dramatics, organizations to activities. Mark Maskell was on the Brain Bowl team which took second place in competition sponsored by KMA Radio in Shenandoah. As the year drew to a close, seniors began looking forward to life beyond high school. Many took trips to area colleges, some talked to military recruiters, others made job plans. But, as the day of graduation approached, there was general agreement that students were proud, indeed, to be Pioneers.
