Crowded conditions mark school year; Students involved themselves with many activities during the school year in both school and community activities. A new addition to the 1978-79 school year was the Pioneer Football Field, which is in the back of the school. The Homecoming activities played a big part in the beginning of the school year. Students worked together throughout the Homecoming week decorating halls, and had a pep rally every day. A bon fire was also held, where some of the football players dressed up as cheerleaders.
