Crowded conditions mark school year; Students involved themselves with many activities during the school year in both school and community activities. A new addition to the 1978-79 school year was the Pioneer Football Field, which is in the back of the school. The Homecoming activities played a big part in the beginning of the school year. Students worked together throughout the Homecoming week decorating halls, and had a pep rally every day. A bon fire was also held, where some of the football players dressed up as cheerleaders. CO E CO CD CO CO CD THE PIONEER 1979 Nebraska City Senior High Nebraska City, Nebraska Volume 33 Nebraska City Senior High students really experienced the theme “Bursting at the seams, with a large class of sophomores, the crowded parking lot, nearly 130 members in the marching band, and being sandwiched in the locker areas between classes. Because of the crowded conditions, one special education class had to be moved from the regular classroom to a room opposite Dr. Fielder’s office.
