It’s always nice to get away from the routine and be able to do something different. Participants, spectators, and instructors enjoy the opportunity to try something new, interesting and exciting. Each year a day is set aside for personnel from schools and colleges to visit with prospective students. Government Day provides a different view of our government’s processes. Minicourses are a chance to learn new skills. The plays and musicals are a relief and an escape from everyday tedium and boredom. We also honor those students who have excelled. Activities allow the individual to be creative according to his or her own desires. They were, are, and will be important as a means to relax. Local depot was busy as improved transportation gave people more spare time Activities 11
