MUSIC AND ART Mr. Jenkins Miss Peterson Mrs. Loofe Developing harmony is the essential aim of the music department. Band and choir members strive for pleasing tones and good quality. These organizations provide their members with a chance to round their personalities and to cooperate with others. Art is a popular field which offers its students a sense of balance. Art gives interested students a chance to work creatively and experiment with various mediums. Everything is smiles ? ? She is always helping. Cut the mustard !!

HISTORY Mr. Hayes Mr. Barton Mr. Francis Is everyone enjoying themselves? The Nebraska City High School requires a two and one-half year study of the past and present. The sophomores at NCHS study world history which is a study of civilization from the beginning of time to the present day international problems. American history keeps the juniors busy studying the economic, social, and political, as well as the historical aspects of America. The class of '67, meanwhile, are hard at work with a semester of American government and a semester of modern problems. The world of tomorrow will be molded by the students of today. Anyone camera shy ? ? Excited young minds ? ?

GUIDANCE AND LIBRARY Mrs. McGaffey NCHS students find their unusually beautiful and finely equipped library a successful means for broadening their education by reading information and entertaining books and periodicals. Every NCHS student plans his own future with the helping hand of our guidance director. Subjects and activities are coordinated to fit everyone's needs. In addition, the director is faced with the tasks of planning different scholastic tests and the annual Career Conference. Miss Gunlach Now whose coming? Let's keep working.
