A Fine Administration Mr. Metcalf received his high school diploma from Blue Springs High School. He received a bachelors degree of science from Nebraska Wesleyan University and a masters degree in education and administration from the University of Nebraska. Before moving here, he lived and worked in Valentine, Nebraska as a superintendent of schools. Mr. Metcalf has lived in Nebraska City for three years and plans to remain for at least another three years. Mr. Metcalf and his wife, Lorettia, have four children--Tracy, who is now in the United States Navy; Christie, a Junior at Nebraska City High School; Judy, a Sophomore at Nebraska City High School; and Rinnie, a Freshman at Nebraska City Junior High School. Sam Metcalf, Superintendent of Schools Mr. Harvey D. Bettenhausen came to Nebraska City High School in 1965. Mr. Bettenhausen graduated from Lincoln High School and attended the Universities of Idaho and Nebraska. During his schooling he served our country in the Special Services of the United States Air Force. Before coming to Nebraska City High School, Mr. Bettenhausen's teaching experiences had been at Palmyra, Rushville, and Bloomfield. He has taught math and has been a basketball coach.
